Hi you could have a clogged drain pump or obstruction in it. Remove the lower bottom cover. Have a container or towels to catch water. Removed the drain cover by turning counter clock wise. Sometimes you have to remove the pump to fully and clean. You also need to plug the washer into another outlet. If possible use an extension cord use the extension for test only.

My maytag Neptune washer mah7500 panel doesn't light up, but still works

Thought it was the door switch/grounding issues/loose wire, etc. Finally found that there was a bad capacitor on the circuit board. It was a 15 cent part that, when replaced, caused all the non-start/power failure indication issues to go away. I've included a picture of the bad part - you can see the slight bulge on the top of the capacitor and a little leakage. Hope this helps. 650c7b72-0a6b-4fe3-b776-b4d9dc5589c2.jpg

"GE Quality Product Spacemaker Laundry"

you could have a broken belt or a frozen pump pulley. the leak has to be addressed to see where it's coming from. it could be from the pump hoses/connections. it could be the main tub seal that's leaking. if you're not handy with tools and test equipment, i suggest you call someone to have a look at it. these are problems that wont be resolved by pushing a button.
and thankyou for using this site. i hope you will continue to use this site.
if you have any further quesions or need further advice, repost another question. be sure to include the model number as well. you gave a good explanation, and that helps. anything you can think of can be of assistance
thanks,
mike

Doesnt work

need more description. if it is getting power, but still appears dead, it is probably the controller board.

try to find an old radio repair shop to get it fixed, sounds like a simple power supply issue.

good luck

GE Profile Harmony Top Load Washer - Won't drain

After more thought, it dawned on me another possible reason. In my case, the washer is draining water, but it keeps cycling the pump on and off, thinking that the pump isn't working properly, and the washer doesn't go into its high-speed spin to eke the last bit of water out. It dawned on me that it could be that the pump is fine, but the sensor is lying, saying there is more water when there isn't.

I looked at the tube for the sensor, and noticed a small blockage of white soft stuff. I disconnected the sensor tube from the tub (in the back), managed to squeeze the blockage out, connected it back up, and now it all works fine (about 5 loads and I haven't seen the pump message)!

So if your pump is draining water successfully, but the washer keeps complaining and refuses to go into the high-speed spin, then perhaps this is your situation as well (or a bad sensor, etc.).

Note that I'm pretty sure the blockage is what ended up ruining my first pump. The blockage matches the color and consistency of the caulk/glue that was used to attach the sensor tube, so my suspicion is that too much was put on at the factory and ended up going into the tube, but not enough to cause problems initially. After several years of use and perhaps a bit of water mineral buildup, it finally became a full clog.

Finally, note that, as you may have guessed from the design of the machine, when you disconnect the hoses at the bottom, there's always a few cups or more of water in the two black hoses and the pump that it can't manage to push all the way to the drain.

Hotpoint WD860P - F5 error

Remove lower rear cover of washer, locate and remove large black hose to bottom of tub.
Remove and clean plastic filter located in the hose, check pump for blockage, refit filter and hose , and test for leaks.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Kenmore 110 washer dryer leaving water on the floor

Ok if your washer is newer than 1987 then here goes. On the washer console is two clips just in from left and right edges, use a putty knife and slide it under the console at the inch mark left and right pushing slightly back on the console. After this is rolled back you will see a plug on the top for the lid switch, unplug this after the machine is disconnected from power. Now there is two brass clips that will come out using a slotted screw driver, do this by inserting at the top, not the back panel, into a square recess where this clips, push back and if right the clip pops out, note how it removes, opposite to replace using same force and palm to replace. The housing is the dog house and it will pull forward as it retains on the black frame on the base where the feet are with pegs. Once tilted towards you the house will pull out and you can start with the tub and go down, and also examine the house for water marks. The pump is below this with a hose from the tub and one to the drain attached to the motor with a clip top and bottom. Feel along the bottom for drippy water or pull the clips and pull straight out and flip as the bearing or front cover leaks 9 of 10 times. If this is the problem use part 3363394 to replace.
