SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Scan won't send the files to the network folder

Hello,
1 - If connecting via the IP adress, please check that the IP address for the destination's folder hasn't changed (if it is an automatic ip address, i'll recomment placing a fixed one,
2 - Check the folder's permissions, you can try to allow anyone for that folder, write and execute for all users.
3 - If you transfer files via the FTP protocol, then you should enable file sharing with the ftp service active (port 21):
Thias is what i have found for windows xp:
"XP includes a built-in FTP service component that lets FTP clients connect to the machine and read or write files; however, this service doesn't install by default. To install the FTP service, perform the following steps:
- Start the Control Panel Add/Remove Programs applet (go to Start, Control Panel, then click Add/Remove Programs).
- Select Add/Remove Windows Components.
- Select Internet Information Services (IIS), then click Details.
- Select the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) Service check box, then click OK.
- Click OK to close all dialog boxes."

hope these things help

First check to see if you have an IIS connection. To do this you must go to start menu>add or remove programs>add/remove windows components>internet information services (IIS). If its not checked then check mark the box and press next. Another might be that its working offline which is located in the tools menu. If you can get the hp site for compaq then download the network driver into a flash drive or cd then your in luck because you can install it in the compaq. Here's a link hope it helps good luck http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=228&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=93214&lang=en

How to configure FTP server in windows xp prof ?

Setting up an FTP site Using Windows XP Professional Windows XP professional (as well as Windows 2000) includes Microsoft's IIS (Internet Information Server) which can be used to create an FTP site on your computer. It's a fair bit less complicated and less flexible than using some third-party FTP server software packages, so we will give you guides for setting up both. If you are using XP Home you will need to use third-party software. There is no way to publish an FTP site with the Home Edition of XP.
The first step is to check that IIS (Internet Information Services, Microsoft's web-server application) is configured properly.
Go to start\'control panel'\'add/remove programs'\ choose the 'add/remove windows components' button from the bar on the left. Highlight the item 'Internet information services (IIS)' If it is unchecked, check it, then click 'details.'

The components you will need are: 'common files,' 'file transfer protocol (FTP) service' and 'internet information services snap-in.' Uncheck any others then click next. IIS will configure itself, and you may be prompted for the XP CD.

Do you have IIS installed on your xp machine? If not , go to add/remove programs, click add /remove windows components, and select Internet Information Service, and click apply/ok. You may be asked for your XP disk , if so, insert the disk into the drive requested to procede. Once IIS is installed on the machine, Set the router up for port forwarding on ports 24, and 25.
