Question about Microwave Ovens
Yes, those are 1- or 2-piece nylon rivets. Sounds like they held the stirrer cover or waveguide cover on.
The original Toshiba part number was 325541052 but they are no longer available.
You can probably find suitable replacement nylon rivets at a local hardware or home improvement store if you take one with you or at least measure the diameter of the hole they need to go into.
I'd say they are about 1/8' to 3/16" if I remember correctly.
Or at the same stores you can get some nylon screws a little bit fatter than the hole and screw them into the holes. You will have to force them, but they will work.
Nylon is transparent to microwave energy.
