How do i hook up a dvd player????
I don't think I have all the right cords for the hook up. I have a Panasonic CT32G6 32" TV and a JVC XV-NP10S dvd player. I have one cord with the white, yellow and red ends. What am I missing? Pictures?

What type of hookups are on the back of tv ? Do you have an HDMI hookup if so try using that If your tv comes with a game mode look in back before u hook it up to place it in right spot. One last thing why don't you try hooking up old fashion way buy adapter for regular cable hookup and use channel 3 or4 that might help
This is an analog tv,buy a digital converter box to hook it up where,ur dvd player was hookup + buy a digital antena to get a good receptions.Follow the digital converter box instructions.U will hook it up correctly and have free DTV air brocasting signal.
It should hook up like a regular VCR does. A short cable from the OUT on the back of the dvd player to the cable hookup on the back of the tv.
You can also use audio/video wires (3 wire cable). Somewhat same method...connect 3 wires to audio/video OUT of the dvd player to COMPONENT section on the back of the tv. Should be color coded to match colors on the 3 wires.
Hope this helps some. It is difficult to explain. Good luck!

Try looking on your tv's menu for "input" or "input select". This should allow you to switch to your front AV inputs. If that doesn't work hook into the coaxial cable in the back of the set (the one for your cable or satellite input. Plug the cable from the output or to tv side of your reciever into the input of the dvd player and run another lenghth of coaxial cable from the output of the dvd player to the coaxial input where your satellite or cable was plugged into the back of your set. When you want to watch a DVD just turn on the DVD player and the picture should come up. When you turn it off your satellite or cable should come right back.
