You got to take off the backside of your tv and you inmediately see the belt in one side of the vcr sistem

Power keeps shutting down after a minute


There are a couple of possibilities for this:

1) The VCR section is not completing its powerup self test successfully.
2) There is a problem with the TV section causing the protect circuit to kick in.

Neither problem can be diagnosed remotely. In my experience with these sets, the VCR section is usually the problem. There are 2 belts that have dried up a bit and are slippery and may not be allowing the powerup/reset to complete. These belts are usually around $2 each and relativelty easy to change for an experienced shop. Check around for a local repair shop that can take a loko for you.

Symphonic vhs tv turns off i hear the vcr after that it turns off


The vcr sistem is out of time and the microprocessor don´t detect the tape is out,you need to change the motor belt charge,good luck

Always be the belt on the charge motor of the vcr,when is to old slips and make the microprocesor detects error thats why shuts off the combo.

Turns on but turns off automatically after being on 5-10 seconds, HELP!!!


The belt of the charge motor of the vcr are in bad conditions you gotta cnange it.Thats all the problem.

Try that number and see if they have a vcr belt. I saw it advertised that they have a kit that has 13 of the major drive belts for vcrs.

TV SHUTS OFF


You gotta change the vcr
motor charge belt that's all the problem because the vcr sistem is out of time and the micro detects the error and shuts off the tv.Good luck
