From a computer, go through your Gmail login. On the screen that asks for your password, click "Forgot Password".
You will need an alternate email address or phone for them to send a temporary password. There may be other security details you can provide besides the verification you setup. One is: name 3 email accounts you have sent to recently.
Try recovering the password to your old email account. There should be a "Need help?" or "Can't access your account?" or some similar link on the sign-in page.
You will have to do a recovery. It may be harder if you don't have certain things like a back up e-mail, 2 step vitrification or cell phone number as options for recovery. Here is a link to start at. Having trouble signing in

I had the exact same problem just a week ago.. Easiest way around it is to create another email address with the same email address as your first one but changed slightly eg;
If you have forgot your password, then click on "Forgot your Password?". Then enter your email address, which you have used while registering for facebook. Make sure that you have entered the correct email-id. You will get a mail with password reset link, then you would be able to change your password.
1. don't click on any more unsolicited emails regarding resetting passwords. THat is how your pwd and account gets hijacked. 2. Run MalwareBytes and make sure you aren't infected. 3. http://www.facebook.com/help.php?page=746 4. [email protected] for any additional questions or concerns.
