Good Day,
Go into the 'menu' then advance area to the audio and turn speakers on. You must have TV's orig remote. Or go to menu:
OPTION MENU "MENU 1370" SERVICE MENU "MENU 2357". Choose reset.
Good Luck, big IRISH.

No volume cinemate gs seris ii

OK, so your Bose remote is set up for your TV. That's good. You still have to connect some kind of audio output from the TV and connect it to one of the inputs on the Bose. Then you must select the input button on the Bose remote that you connected the TV to. For more information, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. Thank you.

TV was hooked up to BOSE System BOSE SYSTEM was removed but I need to reset the sound as it does not work. Please Advise.

Should be able to go into the menu and turn the speakers back on or some of the sets have a speaker switch on the back of the set down by the inputs to turn them back on.

u have to go to radioshackand get a 1/8 to dual rca y-adapter then u plug it in to ur tv , if its a philips like u say itis it has a audio out put for headphones on the left bottom corner on the back of the tv, just plug it in and then lower the volume on the bose system and on your tv remote press menu, tv menu will come on on the tv screen go to it, or press ok on the remote, on tv screen will say tv setting press ok on remote, go to sound, go to headphone volume, put it on 60 its the perfect setting on for your tv DO NOT go over 65 it will distotion the equilizer on the bose, well this work for me but if i find out an other way ill let you all know

Remote

The IR "bug" provided with the Bose 18/28/38/48 models is an IR emitter which sends out IR control codes to another component. The system is designed to have the Bose remote control be used to control the TV and the dish box. The Bose media center has a strong IR blaster in the front which will flood your room with the IR codes to control your TV or Dish box. The TV sensing device must be placed at a location on the TV where specific voltages can be detected. The location will vary depending on display type you have - plasma, LCD, tube or rear projection.
