Question about Focus Electronic Focus FK 8200 Keyboard

Focus FK 8200

My current ones are over 10 years old, these are the most awesome keyboards I have ever used and I have been in computers since 1981. I am looking for the same type of keyboard but with USB or PS2 connector. I have been unable to find a source.

I am looking for a Focus Electronic FK 8000 or 8200 Keyboard with an LCD above the 10-key pad. I really don't care if it's a Focus or some other manufacturer, as long as it has an LCD above the calculator. I can't find one. If you find one, please let me known. Paul

Need driver com port driver for fk7200

Just treat your FK-7200 as a reqular keyboard and a mouse connected into one piece. Therefore,
1. There is no "driver" for either of them.
2. Just like any keyboard and mouse, if they built with PS/2 connector, you just need to buy a PS/2 to USB convertor.
3. I have worked for FOCUS more then 3 years, I have handled more then 10,000 pieces of 7200,8200,9200,2001. So, just trust me. any question you can find me at

I just bought a used 2001 clicky keyboard, and the g and h keys are transposed. How do I get the caps off to fix? Thanks.

Carefully take a small knife such as a butter knife, slip it under the key and pry it up, be sure that if the key is resistant that you do not break it. kids at my old school use to do that in the computer lab all the time, immature and idiotic.

Focus FK-8200 Keyboard

FK-8200 become so precious now, because you can not buy it any more.

Sorry, I just read your problem, hope it's not too late. There is a very easy way to fix it,
1. remove all screws from the back of you Fk-8200
2. cardfully opne the upper case
3. you will see a "film" type of connector on the upper-right corner of the keyboard -- check it up (move it a bit that usually will fix the problem ( bad connection).

Several keys do not work

Throw it away and buy a new one. These things are designed to be thrown away when they break. Im sorry I could not help you further but the problem is that it would cost more to repair the keyboard then buying a new one. These days all keyboards are made of cheap plastic and rubber. In the old days they were made of hard plastic and metal springs. The days of indestructible keyboards are over.
