Question about HP Pavilion dv2000t Notebook
Hey i need help, every time i touch the scroll button in te touch pad my notebook freezes.what can i do to fix this.
The best course of action is to perform a driver update of the device and see if this clears things up. Since your touchpad freezes the computer, I would find a mouse to plug into the USB port and use the HP Update utility.
Since that program is known to be iffy at best, Check Windows Update and see if a touchpad driver exists as one of its updates.
And if you still encounter problems, you may want to call HP for some ideas.
When worst things comes to worst, you can attempt a factory system recovery which is used as a last resort.
