My dryer quit heating and I replaced thermal fuse. It heats now, but when the door is opened it does not stop running. The switch seems to be OK. Have any suggestions? It did not do this before fuse...

Hello Rohanna

You need to check this following:
Make sure the dryer is plugged in securely
Check for a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker
Test the power outlet for voltage
Inspect the electrical cord for damage
Eliminate use of an extension cord, if any is being used
Check the outlet voltage
Test the door switch
Test the start switch
Test the safety fuse
Test the thermostats
Test the timer motor
Test the motor

Kenmore dryer model # 110-60212990 heater element not working. replaced element, thermal fuse, thermal cutoff

Hello
Check high limit thermostat continuity. If ok ,Check for voltage at thermostat side of the heater element. If voltage present timer ok.Most likely centifugal switch at motor.Motor has to be running for element to work.

It's all fixable!

I think my dryer finally stoped

Inspect the start switch and the door pressure switch as well. if both switches check out OK, replace the timer/control device.

Whirlpool LER5644A No heat and motor wont Turn

Replace the dryer wires.
Put your meter leads into the 4&5 slots.
Make sure the door switch is closed or jumpered.
Push the start button.
If you read no voltage the issue is with the wiring, the timer, or a relay.

Dryer wont run any ideas?

It has got to be the door switch. The fuse won't stop this appliance from running.

Kenmore series 70 mod#110.62722100

check the door switch first if it is ok ..(doors not popping open) then the PTS (push to Start) switch is most likely bad as it wont hold in after it was pressed
