I need to take photos off my Sanyo Cellphone and download to my Computer. I haven't got a clue. I have a cord connecting computer and phone, but I don't know what software it takes to download the photos. Pam

Hi,

The Sanyo SCP-2700 cell phone does not support 'browsing' or file transfer. The suggested course of action is to upload the photos to Picturemail - please be sure you have the Picturemail service and a data plan, otherwise it will get expensive.

Once the photos are uploaded to Picturemail, you can download them to your PC singly or as a ZIP archive.

To transfer photos from cellphone to computer..You need a card reader.Remove the memory card from yuor cellphone place it on the card reader then connect the usb cord from the card reader to the computer..Then go to the MY computer,then go to the disc either drive a..c..d that was added.and try to open the drive that was added..

There are two or three ways;

The easiest is to email it to yourself from the computer and collect it on the phone.

Or connect the phone to the computer with a USB charging lead and in Windows Explorer, you should see the storage location of images on the phone.

and there are apps that you can put on the phone and the computer and transfer the image via Bluetooth.

If you have an iPhone there are additional ways and this suggests 6 ways.

It could be the batteries, it could be the cord, or it could be one of a dozen other things.
Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

hello, unless you have and older computer or a computer running windows 10 your shouldn't have a problem doing it, with your usb end of your power cable, it should sync automatically or under my computer you would see it and transfer from there. Unless you have a bad cable.

Not sure they make a software for a basic phone. I have one. Haven't ever seen a software for it.

I just email the pics to myself, the keep the emails as a back up copy, then download them from the email.

Ok just transfer first all the pictures you wanted to put in the computer to the memory card of your cellphone. After that if you have a card reader remove the memory card in your pc and insert it in your card reader then plugged the card reader to the computer..make sure your card reader is detected by your pc if it is and read your memory card then import the pictures.
