When you receive your email with your unique LG unlocking codes, you may see there's actually more than one code as some models require more than one code to unlock them fully. However, for simplicity, we do aim to send you a single unlock code.

Depending on your model, the code you receive will either be an 8 digit or 16 digit number.

Option 1 method - LG Models
To enter your unlock code, LG phones often require access to a hidden menu first. To access this menu simply enter the digits 2 9 4 5 # * 7 1 0 0 1 #.
1. Insert an original SIM card and turn the phone on
2. Access the hidden menu by typing 2 9 4 5 # * 7 1 0 0 1 #
3. Select 'Menu' and then 'Settings'
4. Next, select 'Security'
5. Select 'Network Provider' and 'Deactivate'

Option 2 method - LG Models
1. Insert a not accepted SIM Card and switch your LG phone
2. The phone will display 'phone restricted'.
3. Select Cancel
4. The phone will display 'phone restriction code'.
5. Enter the Unlock code provided
6. Select OK
7. Your LG will now be now unlocked

hi i have the solution to ur problem unlocking ur phone is simple after turning ur phone press *#865625# u will see on ur screen a message regarding sim lock which states that if u enter the code incorrectly 10 times ur sim will be locked permanently press yes to continue and enter the 16-digit subsidy unlock code and enter it again for the second time the device should say network lock deactivated and ur phone will reboot automatically was this useful to u if yes pls do rate my solution and thanx for visiting fixya

First your SIM has to be installed in phone, Provider will give you the 16 digit code.

1:Switch ON your phone with an allowed SIM card

3:Press CALL.
4:It should you ask you for the code.

1:Put in a non-allowed SIM, phone says invalid SIM card
2:Now enter *#865625# then enter your 16 digits code.

How to Unlock LG KG800 Chocolate Without a Code (not reliable):

1:Insert SIM from the network that it is locked to.
2:Turn on phone.
3:On home Screen, slide up phone.
4:Type 2945#*#
5:ENG. Mode menu should appear.
6:Go Down to Factory Reset. Select it. May take a few minutes to reset!
7:This will reset the phone back to before the phone was locked to a network.
8:The phone will automatically restart (the network logo at start up will not change).
9:Now insert any SIM card and the phone should turn on normally
10:The phone is now unlocked and you can customize the setting as you like

On the AT&T Network, to unlock the LG Shine or CU720, it’s pretty simple:

• Put a AT&T or Cingular SIM in the phone; it does not have to be an active SIM
• Enter *#865625# then the 16 digit unlock code*
• Device should say: Network Lock Deactivated
• Phone may automatically reboot

*The 16 digit code can be obtained by calling AT&T Technical Support and given the representative the IMEI number. In exchange they will give you the Subsidy Unlock Code.
To obtain the IMEI number, type *#06# on your device. This is a 17 digit number and it is not the same as the unlock code, this is the IMEI number to give to AT&T Technical Support in exchange for the 16 digit Subsidy Unlock Code.
