Question about Audio Players & Recorders
not a permanent solution but this is how i got it working... keep pressing the power button different ways (ie. hard, soft, etc) and when you do get it, dont touch it for a decent period of time, like 15 minutes. Then turn it off and on, it should turn on this time wo a problem and if it does then it souldnt be frozen anymore. Otherwise, if i didnt wait 15 minutes, it would be frozen and if a certain button was pressed or the receiver is moved, it will just shut off. ANother piece of advice, once you get it working, leave it on!

Unfortunatelly your receiver has failed. The front panel is telling you one of the power modules is probably bad. Not an DIY type of repair. These parts are near $40.00, plus cost of replacing.
Look at options to replace your trusted receiver with a new one.
