- so this happens every day and how hot is normal cause mine is everyday during the day its cold then it will get real hot then and hour later or so it will be cold????

that is normal the condenser coil is in the liner and removes the heat this way most chest freezers are made this way

- It only get hot when the compressor is running and the unit needs cooling
