Format the player. THis will fix your problem but this will also remove all the files on your device. To perform this, turn off the device, slide the power switch down it will be showing orange. When it is showing orange press and hold the center/middle button while connecting the player to the computer. Now it will be detected as a drive on your My Computer window. Now right click on it then choose FORMAT make sure the file system is FAT32 then click on start. Wait for it finish.
