Try downloading and reloading the video drivers for your PC.
It could be that they corrupted.

#2 If you plug a different monitor into the PC, does it do the same thing?
If yes it does the same, it's a problem with the video card.
Try the drivers, or you may need to replace the video card.
If no a different monitor doesn't have the problem, it's a problem with your original monitor, and you'll need to replace the monitor.

This blue green tint appears when a magnet is close to the monitor. Find devices having a magnet which is close to the desktop. This might be the problem. Take devices having magnets away and i guess things should be fine.

You didn't indicate what type of connection you have between the TV and the PC. The basic color scheme is red-blue-green, so your tint sounds like it's missing the red. It could be a cable problem, can you try replacing it/them. Or it could be a problem with the computer. If you don't want to return it you could try a different video card. I'm assuming you are using the motherboard video drivers.

well it sounds like the color scanning chips in the monitor are going<have gone> bad. If you have access to another monitor I would hook it to your system and see. XP may run, depends on your processor speed and RAM amount, also graphics can be an issue in XP

Hi, my monitor is "Samsung SyncMaster 793df". Problem is i can't set right color and contract. how can i solve it?

If the monitor has a consistent tint throughout, try to adjust the color through the OSD (On Screen Display). If this does not resolve the problem, or your monitor seems to be missing a color, disconnect the signal cable from your computer and wait for the No Signal image to appear. If all colors - red, green and blue - are present in the No Signal image, the problem is not with the monitor, but possibly with the video cable or video card. - exert from samsung faq....

If you mean something else, go into a little more detail if you wouldn't mind... Also, another thought has popped to my mind, you do have the drivers for your monitor installed?

Monitor Showing to much red

Hi,
Is it possible that your PC or Monitor is just showing more red tones? Have you checked a WHITE background like a blank webpage? Does it have a red tint too?
Do you possibly have speakers or an external fan near your computer or your monitor? If so they sometimes have magnets that will interfere with your screen.
Another thing you might want to check is to unplug the monitor cable that attaches to the computer and check and see if any of the PINS in the plug are bent.
Please let me know how this works out for you.
Thanks,
Kaj

check wether the RAM working properly or not because if RAM have some problem it might be possible that system get boot but u will not get the display. then check after booting is u r monitor power led gets red or green if it is green light then check u r monitor display property brightness, contrast etc. if u getting the red light it means the problem with u r RAM or Hard Disk.
