Car Radio I bought a second-hand Vauxhall and the in-car radio was a Sony CDX-L580X CD player but the trouble was there was no manual for the radio/cd player. The radio was working fine but while attempting to alter the clock I can now not get into the radio function. I can get the "Tuner" on the display but when I press the mode button there is no visual response on the front panel into FM1 etc. I was wondering if I disconected the player it would reset the factory specs but as I do not have the code to imput nor the method to use to imput the code this may be a waste of time. Any suggestions please?

I have the same head unit and disconnected from the battery.
There was no input code required when reconnecting the battery
You should be ok! I can't help with your Tuner problem though!
