Having problem connecting a jvc 34x cam...

everytime i connect to my laptop, it doesn't recognise the camera. even when i use a firewire ieee1394 or usb. i don't know what to do. i really need help JVC Everio GZ-MG430BEK camera not recognised by Toshiba or Acer laptop via USB cable supplied. Do I need seperate driver or patch to be able to use this camera with Pinnacle Studio 12 editing software.

-   I have that problem as well. many people have problems using jvc camcorders, because they do not connect to computers with vista (from what i can understand...its difficult to get answers from any company).-   Guest

After spending 3 hours to capture 30 mins of film which could not be edited even with JVC's own software. We returned the camera to the retailer and chose amother make and model.
