I own model
KUDP 02C RBL3 which has a FRICTION DOOR CATCH that has never worked more than a couple of times (worst design ever for a dishwasher). When the wash cycle starts the water pressure from inside hits the door and opens it just enough to trip the start/stop "door open" safteybutton. Warrenty service came once and "fixed" the latch and it worked for 6 washings. I have since added two clips to the side of my cabnet that I hold the door closed tightly with. Its is a bit cobbled up for such a nice looking and nice working dishwasher but I could see no hope in making the catch that came with the dishwasher work. I made my clips out of ridged conduit clamps screwed with one drywall screw to my cabnet on eather side or the washer. I wrapped the clips with black electrical tape so they don't stand out too much. My wife complains a bit but she likes the way the washer works even with the extra door hold downs.

Error CL appears when the dishwasher control
detects door switch is open or door is open. You'll have to open the door and
check the continuity of the door switch. If the door seems to be closed then it
is the control has detected an issue with the door latch. Check the door latch
& seals to make sure door is closing fine. Unplug the dishwasher from power
outlet and wait for 10-15 minutes. Restart the dishwasher and check if the
error is still there. If error still appears then you'll need to repalce the door
switch/door latch. Hope this helps... Please post back for further assistance.
