Have you already transmitted a design and it has not finished? You can open several windows at one time, so it's possible that there is a pending transmission. If there isn't, I would close the program and then reopen it. That should have cleared out any previous designs that were transmitted in a session.
you can go to the design on the machine and push skip on all the colors or you can just go to your compter and restart it and it will lose the memory for that design. now that i helped you out can you pleasse help me out on the back of your startup cd there is a access code can you type it in a email back to me and i can assist. you better and correctly. thanks sharon
Canceling it takes a few steps, and you may need to do it after each time you do a design. First, close the Futura software on the computer. Then, unplug the USB cord from your machine AND the back of your computer. Also turn off the sewing machine. Do all of this before plugging the USB cord back in. Do that, then turn the sewing machine back on and restart your software. You should be fine.
For whatever reason, your last transmission gets stuck in the "buffer" between the computer and embroidery machine and this will clear it out. It happens to me each time I send a design, and I have to go through this whole song and dance to clear it. Works just fine once I do, though. Good luck!
It may be faster and easier to contact your local Singer dealer, or Singer HQ in your country........they will want you to have a good experience with their product, even if it was second hand.....if there is a problem with the machine, they may even suss it over the phone for you.
You must remember your machine acts like a printer. It will only accept another pattern once the current one is finished. A common fault amongst many users are that they send another pattern while the machine is busy with the current pattern. The correct procedure would be to cancel the current pattern, before sending another one.
You do this by clicking on "exit". Another window will open and ask you if you want to terminate the current transmision to the machine.
If you send one pattern over the current one, your machine is capable of queing and the only wat to resove the issue is by switching the machine off and leaving it off for 60 seconds and resend your nwe pattern
