I recently installed a new cd player in my vw polo, i parked the car up and now i can't start the car, i've had an auto-electrician out to it and four mechanics and it's left them all baffled. If I bump start the car it starts perfectly but as soon as I turn the engine off and try and start it again with the key it won't start. Please help !!!!

Why does my 1996 jeep charikee not stay started when i installed kenwood cd player

you have wired something wrong by sounds of it. And maybe blown some fuse so check all fuses inside and under bonnet see if any have blown.

I have a mazda millenia 01. I put a different cd player in my car. Cd playee would not play and engine light is on now. When i first start my car the gages go up, then back down.. lights on inside...

You apparently have a vehicle with the Anti-theft system on the Audio system. I would put the original player back in to avoid future problems! The vehicle will behave erratically while the replacement unit is installed!

Have a 1996 Toyota Camery. Installed a KDG140 JVC stereo/CD player but the stereo won't work. CD player works great.

If "stereo won't work" refers to you not being able to get radio stations; try your antenna connection behind the radio. The vehicle may also have a power antenna connection(blue wire at the stereo).

I've installed an after marker cd player and my digital display doesn't show on my climate control. How do I fix this?

You may have a bad control or while you where in the dash installing the cd player you may have cut into a wrong wire or pull a connector out a little causing it not to connect good, you will need to go back inside and check the wiring to the controls and check the wires you may have used to connect the player also make sure you didnt pop any fuses by mistake by wiring something wrong, the most common reason for a problem like this is due to connecting the light wire from the stock radio to the wrong wire, this wire is connect to lights for night driving, it lights up old radio at night for the display and i think this is your problem and may have blown the fuse, so if this is the case you will need to replace the fuse and locate that wire and disconnect it and tape it as its not used in the aftermarket radios.good luck and have a good day.

Cd player installation

read my other solution on the other one you posted. yes, the fuse is more-than-likely blown. but also you wired it completely wrong. look on my other solution on the other one you posted, it has the correct wiring diagram. there are 2 wires on the wiring diagram i posted that have the lights. one red is the int.light, and the other one is the turn signal wiring.

first of all putting in non genuine stereos usually you have wires left check the fuse in back of stereo check all your fuses under your dash and in the bonnet even if wires touched momentarely its enough to blow multiple fuses which may be your problem your wiring may be fine see how you go

Brand New Unit Will Not Accept ANY Type of CD

I am having the same problem but only with a KDC-MP335 unit. I installed it in a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee to the stock system, pretty easy install just matching colors for wires and everything works (Radio). but not one CD plays. it says reading and it acts as if it is playing the tracks but no sound... what is going on? did I mess up wiring it or something?
