there is problem with your hard disk. your hard disk wire may be loose. try to remove and refix all sata wires of your hard disk. "operating system not found" message may be coming because you may have not installed any os (windows, linux or mac) in your notebook. try to install operating to system to fix this. there may also be proble with your hard disk, your hard disk may be dead. if your notebook is showing message "operating system not found" without any reason then you may have put your notebook in high magnetic field area. due to high magnetic field, sometimes hard disk's are formatted automatically.

First - re-seat the hard disk and reboot the computer. If the computer does not boot up then reboot and go into the BIOS configuration to see if the BIOS detects the hard drive. If it doesn't detect the hard drive then it could be faulty.
Then the hard drive needs to be replaced in the computer/laptop, Windows installed and the computer or laptop's device drivers plus your programs etc. to get a functioning computer/laptop again.

Hard drives do not like being dropped even inside a notebook. It is a sure way of destroying a hard disk.

The hard disk has been corrupted. You will need to completely format it and reinstall Windows using a separate install disk. Either obtain from Samsung a recovery cd or borrow a generic install disk from someone and reinstall using it and the key on the sticker.

This happens because the hard disk is natively a SATA and XP doesn't have a generic SATA driver so from its point of view the disk is not there. You will need to go into the BIOS and set the SATA connection to use the legacy/IDE mode.

I tried searching for it as well but it seems like this model is no longer supported.

I suggest you download Belarc Advisor. Install it and run. This simple piece of software will tell you the make and model of your components and you can then search for that specific driver on google.
