I just received the Samsung L200 10.2 digital camera and i don't know if the battery is being charged or not. Every time i turn on the camera to check the status, it seems to remain the same, the first bar. How long does it take to charge the battery fully? and how do i know if its being charged?
I called 1-800-samsung, and they sent me a new battery. After the problem insisted, they asked me to ship the camera back to them (still under warranty). The concluded that the cable was defective, and they shipped me a new one within 1 week. That was fast!!!

Are you sure the battery is correctly charged? Most USB connectors on most PC's don't deliver enough power to charge the battery. Try to charge the battery with the power cord till the green LED is on. If you'r sure the battery is fully charged and the same happens again, remove the battery for a small time and put it in again.
That sounds like your battery could be dead/not hold a charge. If you've charged your battery already and your camera still won't stay off and turns off right away, it's time to purchase a new battery for your Samsung TL105.
Hay mate, I had the same problem and called the warranty butlater discovered that the battery was the issue (I used Kodak batteries but thecamera needs to have either alkaline batteries or Ni-MH batteries) Once Ireplaced the batteries of my replacement camera, problem solved.
Make sure that the adapter is having the charging voltage and is available at the terminal of the camera. If so the battery must be changed and you will need to contact the Samsung dealership close to your place for support. Please find this link to be helpful. click Samsung
The battery is located on the bottom of the camera. Plug the USB into the camera, and then instead of hooking it up to the computer, hook it into your adapter and then into the wall. When the camera is finished charging, the icon of the battery will be filled. I have the same camera.
It's not the camera.
Are your batteries suggested for digital camera use? Have you checked the expiry date?
this camera is quite the battery ****- even if your batteries show up as fully charged, a lot of brand's don't have enough power to support this camera, so MAKE sure you buy good batteries.
