You can follow the solutions that other experts offered to you like using a Cd to recovery the corrupted windows file that's why you dont have that option and also do a system restore to the point where everything is working fine..By the I also encounter this and it was cause by a virus or a trojan that only 3 option are available and the option to change display settings is disable, so try running your updated anti virus or if you also have a spyware that will also help...IF all failed this will end to reinstalling your operating system...

Good luck..........

The driver of your video card hasn't been installed. What you have is just a windows pre-loaded driver. Go to Device manager (right-click My Computer > Properties > Hardware > Device Manager). Look for Display Adapter, Click the + sign. Right-click on your display adapter and click on update driver. Let it search the net for updated drivers.
Also you can run the Setup CD for the motherboard of your computer if you still have it. Install the Video card driver.

The background setting are embedded in the operating system, so you will need to perform a system repair with your recovery or operating system disc in order to get it back. You may be able to do a system restore to get it to work. Start with the restore, then do the repair.

I believe that a system restore from the start menu, acessories/system tools, will fix the problem. You may have to go back a couple of restore points, but this should clear it up.

You will need your recovery or operating system disc. Upon start up, you will need to enter the boot menu or set the bios to boot from the CD drive before the hard drive. Boot from the disc, follow the directions, skip past the first repair section that asks if you want to repair using the recovery console, and go on to the section that finds existing operating systems, from here you will be able to press R, and perform the repair.

Excel Spreadsheet Chapter 2

Firstly you would need to select all the cells in the worksheet. (Assuming you have the worksheet that needs the change in format already open.)

Click on the rectangle between the row numbers and the column names ( i.e. to the left of the A and above the 1) - Marked as Step 1

Then make sure you have selected the home option on the menu bar you need to click on the bucket like button on the ribbon - Marked as BG Button. This should open the colour drop down thinggy that i added to the right of the image. Select the colour you need in this case for the purple I have marked it as Step 2 the Yellow is step 4.

To select a certain block of cells you need to click on the cell address area ( Step 3) and type the range of cells you need to select i.e. B3:B5 .. in this case its just 3 cells and can be selected manually by just clicking on the first cell and dragging the mouse to the third.

Finally jst as you selected the purple you could select the yellow colour.1_26_2013_12_31_35_am.jpg

Grayblue Background on scans

A color scan will give real output as it is. If the background is grey, the output will also be grey. If you select 256 Color output, there may be small change in color, as compared to the original. If you select grey output, all colors will be converted to Grey. If these files are converted to PDF, it will be same, except in ODF format.

If you select B&W you can save the file in TIFF format. Unlike grey or color, each pixel can be either black or white only. To scan in black and white you must select right brightness. By doing os you can eliminate background (technically noise) and capture foreground(data)
