Question about E-Machines eMachines Desktop PC
Man, I am about ready to throw this thing out the window....
OK, I tried all three boot up scenerios - none of them worked. The monitor is now acting crazy. When I turn the monitor on, it shows a tri-colored square (red, blue, green) on a black background The red third reads "Monitor Selft Test", the blue reads "Your monitor is working correctly, the green says "check computer power and monitor cable". This square keeps scrolling up and down a couple of times and then the monitor goes into the power safeing mode. No key stroke or mouse movement brings it back.
No longer getting Windows/EMachines logo so does this mean the computer is not trying to come up in Windows anymore?
The monitor is EMachines 17f3.
I feel your pain. I finally moved my pc to a room with no windows! But seriously, try a different monitor first. See if you can borrow someone's to just try it before you do anything else. If that borrowed monitor works fine, then you know what the problem is. (Which I believe is the problem.) By the way, what started all of your problems?
