A popping noise? Could it be the clicking of a relay? There is a relay that activates the compressor that could cause a clicking sound if it doesn't hold. A popping sound could be a bad capacitor but normally isn't a continuous popping sound, unually only one pop.

If the unit is only 4 monthes old it should still be under warranty and you should call it in for repair.

Admiral american fridge freezer constantly blowing cold air into fridge compartment.

Changing the freezer settings won't really make a difference because regardless its still going to be freezing. The way the machine works is the freezer cools the fridge, and there should be a control in the fridge that operates the baffles in the airway between the freezer and fridge and reduces the amount of air that enters into the fresh food section.

Nt side by side fridge freezer not freezing

If the machine is running all the time a few things could be happening, The defrost timer could be bad, but if that is the case then you should see a build up of ice forming on the wall that covers the evaporator coils. Another situation is that your machine is low on freon and not reaching a temperature cold enough for the temperature control to shut the machine off. Third and last the temperature control itself could be bad and thinks the machine isn't cold enough. in that situation you would notice ice build up as well. Hopefully this helps.

I have a Norcold n611 fridge gets too cold and freezes even on lowest setting.

The temperature control thermostat, alson known as the colds control thermostat has gone bad and basically isn't converting electrical/temperature signal properly and needs to be replaced.

My freezer seemed to have quit so I cleaned it out made sure the air flow was good and de-iced everything. Now the bottom of the freezer freezes but the top does not nor does the ice maker work. What do...

open the freezer door,do you hear the fan blowing around?it sounds like the evap fan motor isn't running and that's why it's cold on the bottom and not the top,you have to repair this fast or you'll loose your food in the fridge, the fan is what blows the cold air from the freezer to the fridge section.

Water wont dispense but still makes ice. Also fridge side gets extremely cold no matter the settings and freezes stuff in the bottum drawers

Since your freezer control is the main thermostat , and your refrig control is only a damper , lower your freezer setting and turn the refrig control mid way . This will make the refrig run less , and keep the air flow moving , throughout the complete unit . When the airflow stops , by turning down the refrig control ( closing the damper ) , all the cold air will settle in the refrig section , thereby freezing everything in the lower section .
Since the water line runs thru the freezer door , too cold in the freezer section , will cause the water in the line to freeze . I would also suggest installing a dispensor heater ( pt. # WR49X10173 ) , which would hopefully avoid water line freeze , in the future . This part comes with installation instructions .

GE GSS25LGMF BB refrigerator freezing everything. Refrigerator is set on 1, still freezing.

The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent between the freezer and fridge. The fan in the freezer blows air through it. There is a flap you adjust with the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the fridge temp ..
