Our remote went missing so I'm trying to use the other remote that came with the projector. This remote is model number RM-PJ2. Should I be able to click and move forward with the slides on Power Point presentation?

Make sure the USB cable is run from the projector to the computer. You might also want to open device manager (right click my computer>properties>hardware>device manager) and make sure the projector does not have a yellow triangle with an ! on it. You can also try unhooking the USB cord, deleting the projector from device manager, then hooking the USB cord in again to reinstall the drivers. It should all be stock drivers, so you shouldn't need to download anything extra. Also be sure that the batteries in the remote are good and working. Sometimes you can point an infrared remote at a digital camera and see the light on it (I've never gotten it to work though) to verify that it's working.

Can I use a universal sony remote (model #RM-VLZ260) on a NEC Projector (model #LT265)? If I can how do I program the remote to work with the projector? Also, can I use the same remote for two projectors...

No. This remote control have no set-up codes to NEC brand devices. To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability.
Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have.
Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the site http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ Check this site too. http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops.
Type in the brand name of your device, in the search box [at the top right] of the display window and the Search will start at once as you type in, and will show you all the related posts. It will make surf easy.

I'm using a ge universal remote and cnnot get the sylania model 6513 DF to work

Hello
You haven't described anything about the model number of GE remote. Eventhough it is universal remote, it will have a model number. Model number is necessary for us to give you correct codes. I hereby give you code for Sylvania combo. Check it with.
0456
The code for Sylvania TV/DVD combo with GE RM 24912 universal remote is:
456
Check this code [456] with your present GE remote. Sometimes it may match. OK.

I need to replace a lamp on a JVC RM-C18G how do i find the correct one?

I recently had to replace a lamp on my Epson projector. I was given the projector and had no idea what the cost of a new lamp was. I went to the Epson website to discover they wanted $450.00 for a new lamp! I went on Ebay and entered my product name, serial #, model #, & new lamp - I got one for $185.00. I suggest if you haven't already found one, to follow a similar path - and if the JVC site wants a fortune for the lamp - see what you can do on Ebay!
