Do you know where all your sensors are located for the ABS? One usually behind each wheel. Some on front near outer end of each drive/halfshaft. Rears, backside of backing plate area. On front,Look for the notches/teeth like around the shaft , where it goes into your wheel/spindle/bearing assembly. The sensor should be mounted close to those teeth.Take a small wire brush & clean the rust off the teeth, then take a small piece of emery cloth, or sandpaper & scuff good across the surface of the sensor that is pointing toward those teeth on the shaft. The sensors get their signal from those teeth when wheel is rotating, so too much rust or dirt between those could cause loss of signal, which trips ABS light. You have 4, but it only takes one dirty or faulty one to trip the light. I've saved some headaches & money by doing this on more than one occasion. Here in Canada, snow & slush can cause it too, so I zip to the carwash, blast water spray at rear of wheels in the area of the sensors, and yup, light is out. Not saying 100% this is your cure, but it doesn't cost nothing to try it does it, just your time.

Could be a metal flake/dirt stuck in the abs master unit which is underneath your hood and where all the brake lines orignate from.

Bleed you brakes one wheel at a time and don't forget to keep adding more fluid as it drains out. You can gravity bleed or the old fashioned "down-up" method with 2 people, one opening and closing the valve on each wheel and one pumping the brake pedal.

This is the cheapest fix.

If it still continues your abs master unit could be bad and that is $$$$. Solution #2 take the bulb out from the dashboard so it won't bother you anymore ;)

Did you bleed your brakes? If you didn,t there is air in the lines ,This will cause the light to stay on, Or you might have a (Faulty) ABS sensor on one of the brakes,

Anything that disables the ABS,pull the fuse, disconnect a wheel sensor, unplug the controller,

Anti lock brake light won't go off

Check all the wiring to each wheel for a sensor is attached to the back side of each one. Road debries can shear a wire in two and cause the ABS light to stay on and have good brakes at the same time

1995 dodge neon below 10mph foot on the brakes the abs noise no light it sounds like a drinding noise

Brake pads are worn out. The ABS light would not come on because there is nothing wrong with the ABS. The grinding you are hearing are the brake pad backing plates rubbing against the rotor. You should have heard a high pitched squeal long before this happened. More than likely the rotors are now destroyed and will need replacing or at the very least turned in a machine shop. Fix this yesterday.
