Question about Canon MV730i Mini DV Digital Camcorder
I am trying to transfer my mini dv tape recordings from my canon on to my computer so i can eventually put on to dvd. I have attached a firewall cable that was supplied and it will not show any files on the tape mode. If I have it on the card mode then the files will show up once you click on the Canon symbol. How do I view and even better transfer my mini dv tapes on to my computer. I have no CD installer with this camera other than for the Canon DV messenger.
Can you help
Wow, i have the same exact problem. im using a canon too. and i dont have an installation CD or anything, because i baught my camera at a pawn shop. the only thing i can think of is that i might be using the wrong type of fire wire cord? do i need to use a DV fire wire cord? i have no clue.
