I can connect charger to my IC902 and it'll state 'charging battery', but it will not charge the battery; nor will it power-up. I need to get my contacts off the phone or off the SIM card. Sprint tells me the SIM card does not store the contacts nor can they get anything off the phone with-out it powering-up. The SIM car states on it how the memory will store 600 contacts, so I think the technicians at all six Sprint stores I went to are full of **** and do not know what they're talking about when they tell me the SIM ard holds no information. HELP ME!!!

If u take it to sprint.. they have a cord that may be able to acces your memory. some phone can send your contacts to your online account automattically.. contact your providere to see if your phone did this for u

The ic902 takes a special SIM card that is unique to PowerSource phones. Those phones use Sprint Voice and Data, and only Nextel walkie-talkie and will not work on Boost Mobile Phones.

How to active a motorola ic902 with a nextel account

Go to a 3rd party NEXTEL/Sprint store not a Sprint owned store. They do not know what they are doing with these Hybrids. You need a new 128k sim card.

I put a boost chip in my ic902 and its says please insert right sim. sim doesnt match stored accnt info..does anyone know what to do? i really want this to work..please help! im ignorant on this subject..

the best thing to do is to reprogram the phone to your sim card. to do so when your phone is on and insert right sim appears on-screen dial ##000000# this will send you to a screen with 1.view 2.edit 3. done. go to edit and change the MSID to 0000000000 (10 zeroes) this will pair your phone with the new chip. but since the hybrid 902 has both technologies IDEN and CMDA you will only be able to use the IDEN part with a boost chip. I have an ic902 flashed to use with Pocket and Boost.
