It didn't take me very much time or effort to type into a google search "how to contact rival deep fryer" and the results came back with this:
Rival Consumer Service
PO BOX 3900
Peoria, IL 61614
Telephone: 1-800-323-9519
Our Rival deep fryer stopped working one night...just after christmas, I figured with the holidays I would wait and contact them after... I had forgotten to until today when my husband reminded me to... So after phoning them, and speaking with Alex, I now have a free replacement cord being sent, and the deep fryer was a few days over the warranty...
Get address to rival warranty dept.
We will not be needing this services because we were not satisfied with the options offered. We will have to discard this RIVAL product and purchase a product that allows us to contact the manufacturer by phone.

Is there a "Parts/Service Center" here in Houston that I can take product to & perhaps replace the heating element? Product is under warranty.
My heating element went as well and we can't find a place that sells replacement parts nor are we able to talk to an actual person. This is my 2nd Rival Deep Fryer. Needless to say we will not purchase Rival again..
Well I bought my Rival Deep Fryer CZF 530 and the heating element went out on mine too and I purchased mine in May 2008.... I believe these are defective -- they need to be recalled....
Cleaned the fryer...it started to heat and
then quit heating..I believe the elements are
defective.
Rival 4 Liter Deep Fryer CZF725
Same problem, used just several times. Started heating up one evening and just quit. Power to heating element tested OK. Sounds like a lemon product. This unit is within warranty period but you need the original receipt and pay $10.00 for the shipping back plus and the shipping there. Not worth the hassle, which is what they probably plan on. Will not buy Rival again.
My deep fryer element went out as well...seems like a cheap product, no idea where to get replacement parts. Pretty frustrating when you go to cook something and it doesn't even work anymore.
