I was washing a down sleeping bag. It got tangled in the washer and stopped it. My husband took the agitator off, cleaned up what he could, then rinsed it out. Now a Cl message appears during the middle of the cycle and stops the machine, making it useless. Any help would be appreciated.

CL code stands for overloaded motor. Motor is drawing to many amps and cuts out. I suspect a failing motor or something binding that causes the motor to draw to many amps. Don't know how to fix it.

It sounds like your outlet is clogged. Unplug the Washer first. You need to take off the back, there is a plastic piece attached to the hose where the water comes out. It may look like an enclosed bowl. Items that get sucked in, socks, scarves, etc... tend to get caught into this. If it is supposed to be clear, but it isn't, then there is something stuck in there. You must pull it apart and remove the laundered item.

A way to avoid this happening in the future, if this is the cause, is to put small washable items in the center of the load. Do not overload the washer.

Thank you for contacting Fixya. Does this help? Let us know.

"F02" is a Long Drain error. If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a "SUDS" error may also be generated as a secondary error. This is an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:

1. Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged.
2. Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running.
3. Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.

To check the drain pump, click on the following link for step-by-step instructions.

If the above procedures do not correct the problem, it is recommended by the manufacturer to replace the drain pump

The E20 code indicates a drain problem. Check the drain hose for kinks and obstructions. Next, remove the hoses from the pump and using a flashlight, look into the suction port on the pump. Look for anything clogging the pump (like the occasional stray sock) and check the pump impeller for broken/missing blades and make sure the impeller spins freely. If any blades are missing/broken or if you cannot get the impeller to spin freely the pump is defective. Hopefully it is just a clogged drain line or pump. Hope this helps and best wishes.

E20 error when starting tumble dry cycle

E20 on your machine means some sort of Drain problem. If it actually goes through the Spin cycle o.k. then there is most likely some water still not drained out at the time of the tumble dry. Check the drain to make sure it isn't clogged. also the drain hose.
