Most newer Canons have a max shut off time of 4 hours. It is there so they are energy savers. It may be turned off in service mode under options.

1995 GMC Jimmy 4.3 V6 4 wheel drive. Ever so often

You're gonna want to check your gauges real carefully next time it happens. It's possible that the truck is overheating, or some electrical issue is causing it to short out. Eliminating possibilities here will be the goal. So be sure all your fluids are topped up. It's an old truck indeed, so there are a whole lot of possibilities.

C8 fault code

C8 = During rinse phase boiler doesn't empty
possible causes:-

Are the rinse arms clogged?
Does the rinse pump work correctly?
Is there water in the level sensor tube?
Is there scale in the boiler?
Does the boiler level sensor work properly?
CAUTION: RESETTING THIS ALARM WITHOUT FIRST ELIMINATING THE CAUSE IS DANGEROUS; THE BOILER HEATING ELEMENTS COULD WORK DRY, FURTHER DAMAGING
THE INTERNAL PARTS OF THE DISHWASHER.
CAUTION: C8 IT MUST BE MANUALLY RESET AFTER ELIMINATING THE CAUSE OF THE
MALFUNCTION

Sounds to me like your coil is over heating I had a yamaha tzr125 4dl Italian import n when I first started it to take it out lime yours 5 to 10 min and it would cut out. And wouldn't start for about an hour after anyway after eliminating the obvious cheaper problems I found the coil was the trouble it had a break in the wire but the coil itself was damaged so try that n I think you will find the bike will be ok

I'm having problems adding gas to my hyundai elantra, it will allow me to put about $2.00 and then the pump will stop?

Your Elantra like most cars and trucks has a safety ventilated fill tank...first try pulling the gas nozzle out of your tank about one inch or two while filling at the pump...this should keep the hose from auto shut/off but be careful as you are eliminating a safety shut off...you may need to do this several times at different stops for gas until you surprisingly notice that you don't need to do this any longer...the system will eventually bleed the air out, and return to normal fill operation. Hope this helps.

Why won't my GE electric dryer shut off? My GE

The model number you submitted is not valid. Long dry times and dryer not shutting off is either an element problem, an air flow problem. Lets begin with a good model number so we can see your unit as you do...

The heater will run for a few minutes and then shut down

I am going to attempt to list causes (possibilities) for your description:
  1. the hole in the fuel cap is clogged
  2. the fuel filter is restricted
  3. the nozzle is restricted or worn- Desa recommended annual replacement
  4. water in the fuel
  5. the air pump pressure is not set to factory specs - IMPORTANT!
  6. cracked plastic end cover
  7. nozzle adapter cracked
  8. airline or fuel line cracked
  9. defective electronics
  10. defective thermostat or sensor (if equipped)
  11. any reason that will cause the board/photocell not like the flame being produced
  12. motor gets hot- internal heat sensor shuts unit down- replace motor
  13. more than I can list
As you can see there are many possibilities, therefore you must diligently troubleshoot the system. It's not difficult, but you must start eliminating possibilities, starting with checking for proper fuel delivery. Notice I wrote "proper"- too much or too little fuel is a sure shut-down. Follow these tips

Treadmill turns itself off when it is jarred by running. Does not happen when walking

BEST SUGGESTION IS UNPLUG UNIT THEN TAKE MOTOR SHROUD OFF CHECK ALL CONNECTIONS FROM AC CORD , SWITCH ,CIRCUIT BREAKER TO MOTOR CONTROL BOARD AND ALL CONNECTIONS ON THE BOARD TO SEE IF ANYTHING IS LOOSE. THEN PLUG UNIT BACK AND TRY THE UNIT IF IT DOES SHUT DOWN THEN RESTART IT AND USE THE INSULATED END OF A SCREW DRIVER AND PROCEED TO TAP ON THE BOARD TO SEE IF IT ACT UP THIS MAY ELIMINATE AND ISOLATE THE PROBLEM CONNECTIONS. CHECK RIBBON LEADING TO THE UPPER DISPLAY BECAUSE THAT IT MAYBE RUBBING AGAINST THE METAL TUBING CAUSING THE PROBLEM. ONE OTHER THING YOU CAN TRY AFTER ELIMINATING THE ABOVE PROCEDURES FIRMLY RAP WITH YOUR FINGER TIPS THE UPPER CONSOLE AND IF IT SHUT DOWN EITHER LOOSE CONNECTOR OR SAFETY SWITCH CAN BE TH CULPRIT

I keep trying to quarantine then delete issues with webroot anti virus but my computer keeps freezing up and won't do anything, when I cont. alt delete, it says task manager has been diabled by...

Sounds like you have spyware or a trojan rather than a virus. You can try a restore point if there is one or you can try SPYBOT to see if it can delete it effectively.Webroot is probably causing the freezing from not being able to shut the program down first then eliminating it or its not made to really get rid of spyware/trojans/worms etc at all. There are very few Anti-Virus-Spyware removers that actually work as well as they are advertised.

I have forgottten my Belkin Wireless security key and need to instore wireless on my new lapton but it keeps on asking me of my security key. What do I need to do

If you hold the reset button in for over 45 seconds, you will totally reset all the settings on the router, thereby eliminating the wireless security. This will allow you to access your router and re-establish security. Remember when you do though to attach an ethernet cable to the router to change your settings, because when changes are made, the wireless capability is the first thing to get shut off before it resets.
