Hi there
Bet you haven't been sitting on this one for 11 months but just found your problem while trying to overcome it myself!
Looks like the file is more corrupt than an LA drug dealer but what you can do is extract it to the folder you downloaded it into (right click - extract to here) then plug the printer into the USB port, switch on, and when Windows does its driver interrogation select 'install from a specific location' and browse to the Drivers folder.
It may ask to install the Scan feature first (just called 'scan') in which case browse to the Scan folder and let Windows find its stuff - You'll know all is well when the 'ok' button is enabled and Windows starts chucking files into System 32 folder.
Hope you didn't buy a new printer in the meantime but this is useful for any similar lost disk problems!
All the best
AlB
Can u give me the model no of your printer
To scan documents for editing and saving as PDF files, you will need to install the Lexmark OCR scan software on your computer. The Lexmark scan software (no downloadable version) is only available in the installation disc that came with your printer. If you don't have the disc, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for assistance.
