Question about Kodak EASYSHARE 5500 All-In-One InkJet Printer

5300 Printer Will not print black, I purchased new black cartridges. I also reinstalled the software. PLease help I am in a jamb for my work. Thank You Lanny Toups lannytoups45@cox.net

    I have the same problem since a couples months. The black will not print. I changed twice the black ink cartridge and checked the print head but it did nothing. I need help !!! Thank you.

Remove the black and color ink cartridges.
Right above where the black ink cartridge was, in the top left hand corner of the printhead, push up towards the ceiling and you should be able to push a button that releases the printhead.
Place the printhead right back into the printer and push straight back on the back wall.
You should hear a loud snap.
Replace the ink cartridges which should snap as well.
Close the printer.
After about a minute or so the printer will ask you to do a calibration.
Insert a paper and press start.
Scan the calibration sheet.
After that, in the menu, do a printhead clean.
Do one basic and one deep.
Print a demo sheet to see if anything has changed.
If the picture looks better, continue to do cleans.
In the event that it does not, the printhead will need to be replaced and since the printer is still under warranty, Kodak specialists will try to overnight you a printhead.
The whole process is short and free.

Printer will not print black ink


Seems to be a common fault with Kodak EasyShare 5100/5300

Contact Kodak Support and go though the following tests:

Remove and re-seat Printer Cartridge(s) - Done

Clean Printhead - Done

Calibrate Printer - Test Sheet Not Complete!

Run Computer Colour Test - Done

They will then send you a new Print Head.

My one year old Kodak Easy share 5300 printer only print out plank paper there is no ink showing even i have new cartridges,


Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Normal 0 Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.

Printer Kodak Easyshare 5300 Will not print black ink


They overnighted a new printer head and free ink. We already recieved it. AMAZING. Thank you Kodak. They are awesome.

HP printer new printer HP 5300. no black when I try to print a letter. inital test gave color blocks, but no black


Since when this problem arised, have you check the cartridge?

Is it all-in-one printer or simple, please provide the complete model no.

Try this: Reinstall the Cartridge, unplug it from PC and replug after 10 min. and restart PC first then Printer.

Try to check the cartridge ink flowing out from the nozzle, use a cotton and squeeze it little bit.
