I have a 2210psc printer. The printer keeps wanting to print something I don't want to print. I have hit cancel, turned the unit off, unplugged it all to no avail. Have also unplugged the unit, then turned it back on, and it continues to want to print what I don't want to print. Help

Look into your lower right panel on your computer..there may be a print queue monitor it up, and see if there's something waiting to print it and do a cancel print..that should do it.

On this model there is a cartridge full error that happens when the ink containment unit gets full. This is a very messy job trying to clean them.

I've been using OKIDATE MICROLINE 320 PRINTER at work. I was printing something and I realized that I was printing the wrong page so to stop printing, I simply turned off the power and waited....

You would have to cancel the current print job from your computer for it to stop. Assuming you have access to a computer that is connected to that printer, you will have to find that printer by going to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes > Oki ML 320 then right click, select "See What's Printing" and cancel Current print job (I am also assuming you are using windows). I really hope this helps, if not add a comment clarifying your question, thanks.

How do i cancel something from printing and delete it? if i have a duplicate coming through, i want to be able to delete it...if i hit stop, it comes right back when i turn it on.

Hello Parm298,

When you send something to printer you should see a small printer icon on the bottom right of your windows toolsbar by the clock. If you double click on that icon you will pull up the jobs sent to the printer. Select the job you want to cancel and right click it and select cancel.

Hope that helps.

While on a site (33 page long library book sale site) I must have inadvertently hit something that gave the command to print these 33 pages! I have now unplugged the printer because I do NOT want these...

i dont have a lexmark but i think all printers are generally the same. you should be able to open up the print box, usually by clicking (or right clicking) the icon on your screen (bottom bar) once opened, you should be able to cancel print jobs, by right clicking on the document name in the list and selecting cancel. like i say i dont have lexmark, so may not help.

How to interrupt a printing job and cancel it

Hi, I hope I can help.

Your printer has some of the pages stored in memory, and your computer also has some of the pages stored in the memory (spooler) on your computer.

If you turn off the printer, the computer thinks the printer went off-line and it waits for it to come back on, and then just keep churning off pages. OR.... Something will get messed up and 100's of garbage pages will start churning out.

The deal is to clean out the memory on the printer, AND clean out the spooler on the computer.

Simplest way (hopefully) is to turn off both units. That may solve it. However, sometimes the spooler on the computer will keep trying to print. Down in the lower right hand corner of your screen should be a picture of a printer. Double click that and you'll see the print job. You should be able to select the print job, hit delete, and clear it from the spooler.

Hope this works.
