My S031 when powered up floats backwards and drifts sideways, just put on new blades did not fix the problem can anyone help

Helicopters are not easy to fly, they are not naturally stable. New blades do not solve the problem, this can only be achieved by training and very delicate movements of the cyclic pitch control. I recommend to use a larger skid (broader) or some light device that enlarges the skid surface (to avoid tilting and damage). But be sure that a coaxial helicopter is easier to fly than any conventional model with just one main rotor and anti-torque tail rotor.

Syma s031

Make sure the battery is connected and the Helicopter and remote are both turned on on the same channel. Antenna is secure and extended.

I have an Air wolf UJ371 helicopter made by UJ toys. I was just wondering what is the purpose of the tiny LED light on the printed circuit board. Why does it flash when I first turn it on? What is it...

Paul,

That light is the gyro-sync indicator. It flashes briefly when you power on as a reminder to set the helicopter on a stable, level surface. Once the on board gyroscopes sync-up and set the "normal" head orientation, the light stops flashing and the helicopter will accept control signals from the remote.

Hope I've helped,

S107 will not stop running. even in the off position. controller has no effect

You have the incorrect charger. Contact seller for replacement. Very inexpensive. Try charging with the controller (something I NEVER recommend as it will eat your remote's batteries like a hungry hungry hobo)
Running when off, or running when attached to charger are symptoms of a charger with reversed polarity.

The light on the charger for my helicopter syma S031 with gyroscope remains green even though it needs charging

Mine has also done this. The charger units for these helicopters are mass produced and therefore have a failure rate. I pugged mine in to the mains supply today and it sounded different, as in it 'popped'. The LED failed to light. When I plugged it into my models battery, it went green, even though the battery was low in voltage.

I metered my charger output and it is dead. My S031 is only two weeks old but to get to the shop is a nightmare so I may just open it up and repair it myself (I'm fine with electronics). However, I am not sure if my new battery pack is okay or not, so I run the risk of visually voiding my charger warranty. I have had issues with all of my Syma models and may just get a refund and move on to swashplate 6ch+ machines.

If your charger/S031 is new, I would suggest you return it to the store you purchased it from. Electronics this day and age are a joke and the quality control used is appalling, especially in cheap Japanese models alas.

The charger is sealed and will need to be broken open to access the electronics. Dangerous voltages are inside so I'd suggest you just return it for an exchange.

We have a GYROS S107G and when we lift off the hellicopter immediately starts to lose control and the balancing bar seems to hit the upper blades causing it to crash. Also, the side braces which hold the...

The top of the main shaft is probably broken. There are 2 pins that hold the "head" for the main blades straight and are probably sheared off. This is causing the balance bar to hit the blades and cause it to crash. You could try the crash kit here: http://www.helipal.com/spare-part_v-max-parts_syma-s107.html
