Question about Acer TravelMate 2300 Notebook
I have an acer travelmate 3210 laptop
Whenever i start my laptop just after it turns off almostinstantaneously, i get the sound of the fan switching on. and the LEDwhich signifies the hard disk is being used lits on and then the wholething goes off. Nothing appears on the screen, its just the sound offan swtiching on and then off. I called up the customer care peoplethey asked me to do remove the battery and disconnect the charge andthen keep pressing the power button for a minute to drain out someexcess charge but that also is not helping.
occasionally like once in 10 tries or so .. it does get switched on andworks properly but once shut down gives the same problem again.
Restarting the comp doenst create this problem.
Iguess this problem started when i hard booted my comp too many timesbecause it was not reading my XP boot cd as my OS had crashed
My laptop is about 2 yrs old, and not in the guarantee period.
Can i get some help as to what exactly is the problem. Is there a problem with the hdd ??
Well to be honest
to me it sounds like you should reflash your bios its pretty simple to do and you can download it off the acer support site.
i will send you the link on here.
any other help needed then please dont hesitate to email me on email@example.com
