All you need to do is to format the Pen Drive.
Open My computer.
Right Click on Pen drive.
Then click on Format. You will get different options like quick format or such.
Select the option that says complete format.
Once you format the drive you will be able to use it.
Files on a flash drive can be corrupted if it is not removed from the USB port properly. Before removing the flash drive click on the Safely Remove Hardware icon and then click on the flash drive you want to remove and then remove the flash drive when the computer message says it is Safe to remove. Sounds like the flash drive could be failing or dying. I would try to put it into another computer. if the same problem occurs, then most likely the flash has died. You could try using this free software getdataback. to recover lost files.
You can simply connect it to your computers USB port and then let it the computer to recognize it then when its already recognize open up Mycomputer and you just need to right click your Kingston and select Format and that's it the unit will be clean and all size will be back to original...

go to control panel.. then appearance and themes.. folder options.. and then go to VIEW TAB.. under VIEW TAB..
click the SHOW HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS.. click APPLY or OK.. then check your flash drive...
