Question about Logitech LX7 Cordless Optical Mouse
The wheel won't scroll unless I assign either an "auto scroll" or "universal scroll" and then when I do that I actually have to click the wheel to get it to scroll. However, it scrolls by moving the mouse itself and not by scrolling the wheel. Can someone tell me how to just get my wheel to scroll freely up and down a page and not scroll by using the mouse itself? Maybe this particular mouse won't let me do just a standard scroll???? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!!
You should make sure that you have the LX7 Setpoint software installed to set the features you want. For the scroll button or button three if pressed, I have mine set to zoom (first selection). The scroll function of the wheel should be automatic. Go the mouse movement settings and set the scroll size to 6 lines. That should allow you to scroll your pages adequately. If this helps send a reply for others to view.
