As your using nokia n70 go to menu select message after that select outbox or unsent message select the message which you would like to delete after selecting that select option there you will get number of option there you will be having number of option in that select delete option after clicking that your message will get deleted.If you does not get that delete option means you can contact your nearest nokia services center.There they will fix for you.Thanks for asking question happy to help .

Restarted Windows (as usual...), deleted the account, create it again, deleted (moved in Drafts or whatewer) unsent emails from Outbox.

please see that instead of an unread message it might be a unsent message stuck in your outbox, seems you have cleaned your inbox and drafts folders but there is still something stuck in your Outbox folder

When i try to send a tex i get a msg that says thers another msg in progress

Yes you have unsent message in your outbox trying to auto sent, check your outbox folder and try to stop or delete all unsent messages and your sms will go.

I can receive and make calls but I cannot text. I am not receiving texts either. It just stopped. The error message is that "one or more texts could not be sent".

1. try to check your outbox, if there is an unsent message, try to delete that message if there is. 2. check your phone screen if there is an arrow box with an envelope that appears on top, if there is, there is an unsent message, you can do step 1 3. try to turn your phone off and remove the battery and the sim card, then wait for a few seconds before you turn the unit on
