Question about Computers & Internet
Run through the liveupdate utility and make sure 360 is all up to date. Otherwise, i've run into this problem many times before with other Norton products, and even Symantec's website says to simply disable inbound email scanning. That definitely works, but leaves you somewhat unprotected.
Other suggestions are to allow your email client in your firewall (norton 360) and in your windows firewall (if it's still on)
You'd be getting the 10053 error, i'd assume.
