I have a Samsung SV-47 with no manual. How do I record? I can press the record button and it looks like its recording, but it doesnt. I just put the tv on the channel I want, but it just records fuzz. Is there a way that I should connect the vcr to the tv so that it records? It is connected, because I am able to play tapes.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How do I make a video

Depends what you want to make a video of. Probably best to start off with a camcorder of some kind - there are many available second hand, often at reasonable prices. Advisable too to get a sturdy tripod, to avoid wobbly films. Get the recording medium (tape, mini-dvd, SD card - check the manual for what is required). Charge the battery for the camcorder, then insert the recording medium, attach the camcorder to the tripod, point it at the subject you wish to record for posterity and away you go.

What is the default code for unlocking a programme I have recorded?

hi, the default password/code stated in the user manual for my philips DVDR3460H is "3308".. try using that to unlock your recording - although, - it does state in manual that code needs to be change to own personal code before can lock and unlock programmes (buts its let you lock - so should also let you unlock) anyway to change the password - using the setup menu - browse down to change password and first input 3308 and then your own choice (sorry to state the obvious - but some people might need to hear the obvious - no offence intended)...

well hope that resolves the issue and the program was worth the wait..
Good Luck

Tuning in existing vcr to new tv

The proper protocol for the set-up described is to have the source such as cable, sat, etc to be connected to the input of the VCR, then have its output connected to the TV. That should fix the prob if all else is working...accordianman
