My grandson bought a Colman tent trailer 106 Built in 2003. the man he bought it from was 90 yrs old. When they arrive at my place to set it up, 200 miles later, we find that there is no manual that shows how to set it up. it is difficult with all the poles and gadgets to know where they all go.

First of all clean the jacks very thoroughly. If they are really dirty, tap gently with a hammer to release sand and dirt, hose thoroughly, repeat. Lubricate every part of the jack with lots of wd40. Check that the part of the jack that extends down has been fully released and pushed up into the upper portion of the jack. Then grasp the jack with both hands and tug it down. While the jack is pulled down, swing it up under the trailer until it clicks into place.
