Question about Televison & Video
In step 4, after typing in the 4 digit code, the tv light will flash, and if it's a valid 4 digit code, the tv light will go out after it stops flashing. You don't need to press anything after the last number of the 4 digit code.
NEC TV codes are:
1521, 1626, 1690, 1716, 1743, 1750, 1823, 1843, 1005, 1009, 1043, 1114, 1127, 1165, 1170, 1171, 1172, 1217, 1657, 1816

Once you have input the code and the tv light stays off, try pressing the Standby button to see if your tv responds. if not then try the next code for your brand.
