If you are using an xp computer, just connect the printer and the computer will automatically detect it and will prompt you with the hardware wizard. just follow the wizard. click here for the driver and save it on your computer since the wizard will ask for the location of the driver.

hope this'll help you

ciao!

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

HP no longer provides support for drivers for this printer. The newer Windows OS will support the printer natively, but sometimes it requires a little finesse from the user. Here is a link to an HP forum where folks tell how they worked out the communications issue for the print and scanning functions. Hope this helps!

uninstall printer and reinstall after rebooting.
Use the latest drivers for your operating system.
Some functionality can disappear when the drivers are not fully installed with the latest ones.
