-   My safe is locked, cant find the key. I do remember the 4 pin code. If I enter my code & push the 'A' buttom the light green on the left side comes on & stays on for a few seconds and goes off, no warning alam is sounded, but the safe does not open. If I try the same code and push the 'B' buttom I get the same thing. What is the opening procedure please. Regards, SteveA-   sssadams

-   Had the same problem, now solved thanks for all the info everyone.
However the key is obviously essential, can't believe so many keys have been lost, this is an essential part of any electronic safe as it bound to be needed at some stage.
I managed to find the original instruction sheet, will e-mail a copy on request to tonydrak@gmail.com

all ES20 safes have the same default code, if your set code does not open the safe try putting in the code159A, you'll then have to reset your code and check the batteries coz thats usually what causes the problem in the first place.

I have been told by Sandlefords in Melbourne that you can get into the safe via the knob of the front of the safe using a screwdriver and hammer, yhey wil;l take you through the procedure over the phone, it will bugger the safe but $29.00 what the hay. There are no replacement keys available so that option is out. The safe is not fire proof it has a steal wall with no insulation which will transmits heat very well and it will light up any paper inside very quickly and there.
