Re: MP130 saying cartridge jammed press ok. what do I do?
I've suffered this fault a couple of times now (coinciding (?) with an empty black tank) . I found this solution on the internet and after a bit of messing around (and several attempts) it does appear to work...
Open the cover as if you would change the cartridge. Then press the little black button (left side, under the cover). Keep it pressed, push “copy” on the left and then the (print) black button on the right of the lcd. The printer will go through the motions of copying in black. Wait until it stops again. Then close the cover and press the black button again. Now it should copy… and print, and so on.
This is very common and an obvious F/W bug with the PIXMA printers...Canon needs to somehow address this as there are a growing number of dissatisfied customers

Hi You can Try
Error Code 5100
Yes see lots of this errors Solution 1: Clean the timing strip.
Solution 2: The purge cap (the white sliding mechanism that the print head parks to when it's not in use) may be not lubricated well enough .
Lubricate the sliders with some white grease (don't get it on the small wipers or the black caps); this repair probably require to remove the right panel off of the printer to gain access to the purge mechanism. All The Best: Pineworks
