Bissell Lift-Off 3750 model. The electrical connector between the lift off canister and the brush base has melted the plastic of the female end (on the canister bottom) and broken the prong on the male end (base). Are these parts replaceable and where would I get them from?

- Solved: Contact Bissell. I contacted Bissell through their web site and explained the melted contact problem. Their response was for me to cut the power cord from the vacuum and send it to them with a pre-paid FedEx mailing label. In a couple weeks, Bissell sent a remanufacted Lift-Off vacuum.
The only problem maybe is that the remanufactured model only has a 90-day waranty.
-   Our 3750 also melted the contacts between the removeable cannister and the base unit. I can find the part number B-2036628 (which they say is the female side--it's actually the male side. The female side is on the bottom of the removeable cannister...) But no one has the female side--ist shows in some of the diagrams but has no part number. I am waiting for a reply from the company that has the male part. Any ideas?
