connect to the Internet, if not then it could be a LAN cable problem or a
LAN driver problem. The LAN cable maybe faulty, try a different cable. Try reinstalling the LAN card driver.

I,d suggest To charge the battery Fully.
Then power up the laptop, with A/C Adaptor connected.
Also check your models user manual, regarding the sleep/hibernate mode. the laptop may have gone into one of these modes. Usually a ( zzz ) Icon Key or Similar.
Also when booting press the LCD/VGA Button.
If all else fails, try to see if your laptop, has a hard-reset button or switch. ** Sometimes this can be a small hole ** On the underside of laptop. *** Only use with laptop Powered Off ***

try running a test on youe battery frim control panel
or
try and boot the system in safemode and check if it works there if Yes then its an OS issue if no the boot in bios and reset the setting to default and try agian
